Soltec d.o.o. – Innovations for Modern Outdoor Living

A traditional company with a vision for the future
Our story began in 1990 in Dobova. Over the course of more than three decades, we have grown into a recognised manufacturer and provider of advanced solutions for shading, in-between spaces, and dynamic facades. Today, we export around 65% of our products, and since 2024 we have also been operating through our subsidiary Soltec GmbH in Austria.

Comprehensive product portfolio
Our range includes bioclimatic pergolas with a patented waterproof louvre, carports (including the versatile Carport F), combined canopies, outdoor kitchens, dynamic facades, and Sungrip substructures for solar panels. All our products combine aesthetic refinement, functionality, and energy efficiency.

Innovation and recognition
We pride ourselves on our own patents, most notably the waterproof louvre, as well as on numerous certifications (ISO 9001:2015, CE mark). Our innovation is also recognised internationally: the Gotthardska project in the Czech Republic was nominated for a national architecture award and received the BigSEE Architecture Award 2025. In 2024, we were nominated for the Posavje Gazelle as one of the fastest-growing companies in the region.

Vision and strategy
Our vision is to become the leading provider of comprehensive solutions for in-between spaces and dynamic facades in key international markets. Our strategy is based on specialisation and geographical focus – covering an area within 500 km of Dobova, with an emphasis on Slovenia, Croatia, and Austria, where we are opening showrooms: in Graz (2025) and Dalmatia (2026).

Social responsibility
We see our role as going beyond production. We actively support young people with opportunities for internships, excursions, and seasonal work, and we cooperate with the Slovenian Business Club (SBC). We are proud sponsors of the Brežice Karate Club – SOLTEC, gold sponsors of the Brežice European Film Festival, and supporters of POA Orchestra concerts, while regularly assisting numerous local associations. Our operations are guided by stakeholder theory – creating value not only for customers, but also for employees, suppliers, and the wider community.
